Bio

This experience helped me advance in my leadership projects, and through my foundation, which has a volunteer team of 100 people supporting me in this dream, I was able to implement the social project "Gift of Being Young" in the Las Flores neighbourhood. This became possible because I won the call from ACDIVOCA, USAID, and the Presidential Youth Counseling in the Plan T program. The project was aimed at young boatmen to help promote ecotourism on the Magdalena River.

In terms of the environment, I developed a project called "Recycle +" in the Siape neighbourhood with my team from the "Leadership School" program. The goal was to train single mothers on how to make liquid organic compost from dry leaves. Now, I am investing in a new project called "Conect-art," creating a significant impact on the lives of young people in Barrio Abajo and Barlovento through artistic abilities, aiming to reduce violence and conflicts through art. Bio

Passionate leader in education and social development, with a focus on the Caribbean region. An advocate for human rights and justice, JuanSe is a law student. He is a bold, creative, and proactive young individual with a passion for social work and sustainable development. He firmly believes that education is the most powerful means to transform the world. JuanSe passionately seeks to influence the future of young people in his region through leadership, providing them with opportunities to shape their own destinies and inspiring those around him through borderless education.

From a young age, he dedicated himself to building a better country for everyone, actively participating in various local, national, and international platforms. He engaged in collective efforts to advocate for the construction and implementation of large-scale social impact projects, promoting conscious leadership in his region. He believes in the power of his generation as agents of change through education, viewing it as the key to a future with more opportunities.

JuanSe was one of the pioneers of the Bilingualism public policy with the District Mayor's Office of Barranquilla. He served as an ambassador for the SoyBilingüe strategy, aiming to make Barranquilla the first bilingual city in Colombia. This initiative focuses on providing quality education to children and young people in public schools, offering English language learning as a key to future opportunities. Through partnerships with the BPO sector, they have impacted over 136,000 elementary, middle, and high school students, trained 2,356 bilingual education teachers, and facilitated more than 200 exchanges with foreign classrooms in 154 public institutions in the city.
