Katembo Raphael
Volunteer at Un Jour Nouveau(Africa New Day) in leadership and conflict resolution
I would describe myself as self-motivated, diligent, disciplined, and someone who enjoys working with others to achieve challenging tasks and projects for the benefit of our communities.
Over the years, I have worked in various roles that have given me numerous transferable skills and qualities that match and linked me with OYW. I enjoy working in the type of environment where everyone is positive about change, where everyone is seeking to move forward, and where people take responsibility for their own development especially in domaine of leadership and peace where I believe that the principle key is service.
I have a solid track record of leadership, conflict resolution, and management achievement. For example, in my last role I worked as part of a team that managed to help the company increase internal capacity and external influences for about 8 months. We did this by providing outstanding service, by seeking ways to promote the organization services, and by being supportive of our manager in the delivery of his objectives in domaine of leadership.
Outside of work I keep myself fit and active by visiting the church several times a week. I relax by reading books and listening to podcasts that I have an interest in, and I also like to spend time with my family and friends.
Whilst with my experience I understood above all this that my calling is in conflict resolution and I always commit to improve and develop in the role, not only in word but in action as well.
